My Fellow Americans...

I have withheld my blog comments recently, not for a lack of things to talk about, but because frankly I'm too ticked off and disappointed with the things going on in the world and especially in our country.  I didn't want to bore you all with my rants and raves.  Glenn Beck seems to be doing a good enough job of it for me.  He's tough to listen to these days, but he's right!

Where is Obama's campaign message of hope and personal responsibility?!  It's all doom and gloom now and I'm sick of it.  

I am realizing my need to focus more energy for good on my circle of influence, my family, the young men I work with at church, my co-workers, etc.   I still fill compelled by the Almighty God to defend the constitution of this country to cry out when I see it precepts being violated all around me, but alas, I can only influence those around me that listen.

Kyle gets baptized at the end of this month.  What greater hope than that is there in eternity?!   We must focus more on our families and friends and make sure that we are taking care of our temporal and spiritual needs.  We must practice true charity within our circle of influence now more than ever in the history of mankind.  Our hope must be based on He who is the fount of hope.  I pray that He comes as soon as possible so we can clean up this mess.
